iPod will not sync..?

Recently I received a new iPod. All of my music is located on my desktop computer so I used home share in iTunes to transfer my music to my laptop (which I plan on being the primary iTunes for my new iPod). When I click the button to sync, it says that it is adding the music, apps, and photos but after it is done there is nothing on my iPod. Does anybody know why this is happening and if it is related to using home share? Thanks for any help =)

Home share in iTunes doesn’t transfer music files, it only makes it possible to view and listen to music from someone else’s iTunes library on your own computer. If that user signs out of iTunes, you lose access to those songs. The songs aren’t added to your iPod because they’re not actually on your computer.

You will need to use an external storage device or transfer cable to move the music files from the desktop to the laptop. Music files are typically stored in {username} –> My Music –> iTune Library. Once the files are on the laptop, add them to the iTunes library. Then, you should be able to sync.

How do I make a mp3 cd with iTunes, one that will work in my car?

Cause I tried making one before and it didn’t work in my car. Please help! Or are there MP3 cds that I could buy?

Check your setting on your ipod to see what they are set on and then fix it..and see if on the settings that on the playlist says it’s on and not off and then switch it on..and if that doesn’t work than no idea..

The one I’m looking for features an acoustic guitar and a single male voice. I was told it was done by a group called “Genuine Son or Sun”. I cant find it any where and the radio station that played it is of no help. Itunes has one by Jeff Cook called my first christmas in heaven, that’s not the one Im looking for. Please help! This song totally changed my wife’s life. We lost our son 2 years ago to cancer and after hearing this song, her whole outlook to christmas and life did a total turn around. THANK YOU!!!
