Although having said that many HD players will “Up-Scale” an existing standard DVD and may display it at a slightly higher quality than you are used to.

You can however play any DVD on a HD DVD and (presumably) a BlueRay player, rather more interestingly you can also convert HD DVD to play on a normal DVD player !!!

How to combine video files in Windows Movie Maker?

When importing a video into Windows Movie Maker, you may find that the video is automatically split into several movie clips. Why this happens? Windows Movie Maker does this just to allow beginners to add effects and transitions to the video. If we don’t need to add effects, is there any way to combine them back into one? Yes, you can prevent the video splitting by following the steps:
1. Open Windows Movie Maker
2. Click File > Import into Collections or (Cntrl + I)
3. A dialog box appears which allows you to import videos. On the bottom left side of the dialog box, there is the import options
4. You will find a check box says “Create clips for Video files”
5. Just uncheck the check box(remove the tick mark)

How to combine video clips in Windows Movie Maker?
1. Import video file into Windows Movie Maker.
2. Drag and drop video clips into Timeline frame.
3. Using CTRL to select two or more clips and then click Clip in the upper bar. In the drop down menu, select Combine.

Tip: This seems to only work for video clips that were previously one piece and you have to only combine contiguous clips. If you want combine different video files to a single one, turn to iOrgSoft Video Converter by ticking “Merge into one file” option.

4. When finish working on a project, you can save the movie with .wmv extension by click File->Save Movie File->My computer->Enter a name and choose a save path->Movie Setting, finally save the movie.

Tip: This is for Windows XP users, as a Vista user, you can publish the movie to your computer by click File->Publish Movie, the follow procedures that are similar with Windows XP.

Note: If your video files are not recognized by Windows Movie Maker, maybe your computer lacks of corresponding codec, the easiest way to fix the problem is to download iOrgSoft Video Converter and transform the original video files to avi, wmv, asf, or mpeg video that are read well by WMM.`

MS Antivirus 2009 is a new brainchild of Bakasoftware.  These are the same people that launched the fearsome original MS Antivirus and all of its variants.  You may have heard of some of them:  XP Antivirus, XP Antispyware 2009, Windows Antivirus, Win Antivirus, Antivirus Pro and its 2009 model, Antivirus 2007-2010 and 360, Vista Antivirus, and many others.  They are all variations on the original MS Antivirus.

The family of rogue tools that MS Antivirus 2009 belongs to are all well known blights on the face of the Internet.  Notoriously hard to kill, many spyware removal professionals would ask customers specifically if one of these programs was on a computer.  As late as last year, these programs changed how spyware removal was performed.

As a rogue security tool, MS Antivirus 2009 behaves much like the other members of its family.  It pretends to be an actual part of your Windows system that alerts you when you get a malware infection.  It uses the actual Windows imagery to make it all the more convincing.

Even should you be able to get away from its page and stop the MS Antivirus 2009 scan, you will not solve the problem.  Even rebooting your computer will not work, since it sets itself up to start on reboot.  You’re stuck with it until you actually remove it.

When shopping for an antispyware program to kill MS Antivirus 2009, you have to be extremely selective.  Remember, if spyware removal professionals had to ask for fair warning just last year, obviously not just any antispyware tool is going to work.  The only sure way to be protected is to have a 100% removal guarantee.

How To Copy A Dvd For Free

Many people pay for DVD copy software but the reality is that it can be done for free.  In this article, we will look at how to copy a DVD for free on a PC.

When we look at the process of copying DVDs, we can boil it down to three components:  encrypting, copying, and burning.

Many DVD movies are encrypted to protect their illegal distribution.  Thus, if you have purchased a movie, it may or may not be legal to decrypt in your area.  You may want to check that out before performing doing a decryption.

There are several tools available for decrypting software:  some of them you have to pay for and some you do not.

Since this is an article about how to copy a DVD for free, let’s investigate the ones that do not cost any money.  There is really just one and it is called DVD43.  This program can be found by searching on the Internet.  Once this program is installed, you are done with it.

DVD43 operates in the background and launches on your computer automatically.  Thus, once it is installed it will decrypt on the fly.  The program is represented by an icon in the system tray on the bottom right of your machine near your computer’s clock.  When the icon is green, this signifies that DVD43 has identified the DVD in your drive and it is ready to go.

Since DVD43 operates in the background, you really only need to do two things when you want to copy a DVD for free.

First, you need to copy the data from the DVD to your computer.  This process is also referred to as “ripping” the DVD.

The best product to accomplish this is called DVD Shrink.  This program can also be found by a quick search on Google.  DVD Shrink does one more thing besides ripping the data to your hard drive; it, as the name implies, shrinks the data.  This is often necessary as the DVDs that you want to copy are dual-layered DVDs and can contain more than 8GB of data.    Since the DVD that you will be copying to will in all likelihood  be the standard 4.7GB blank DVD, you will need to shrink the data.

The end result of DVD Shrink will be a file in the .ISO format.

You will now do the final stage to complete your free DVD copy, which is “burning” this .ISO file to disk.  The best freely available program to do this is called Image Burner, which can also be found by searching the Internet.

This free tool will take your .ISO file and write it to your blank DVD.

What can you do now?  Well, you have completed the process and can now take that DVD and play it just about anywhere!

Before burning any CDs you may need to buy or download CD burner software. It is best to close all software before burning CDs. If your CDs are not burning properly, try lowering the burn rate (ex. 24x to 8x), and setting the verify data to on in your CD burner software.
