Looks like the best is to get rid of QuickTime and iTunes completely and start over. For two weeks I tried to install and uninstall QuickTime, without success, and made some suggestions in this Fourm. I cleaned everything and still can not delete. In research I am came with a utility from Microsoft installed on my computer called Microsoft Install Clean. I launch Itunes fast and low and behold, the time and have been identified in the list and I clicked and removed two (one at a time) is back to control panel and if I hit the left hand and Quicktime. Just to make sure I used CCleaner and checked the list of uninstall and disappeared. Now I'll try to install the new version and I am sure it works. If you do not have the free utility from MS to go to the site and download the Member States. This alone could be the solution, but I killed all the files of all sorts Apple in recent weeks. As a final point, it should be noted that the upgrade version of Snow Leopard is priced at just $29.99 (around £20) making it a worthwhile upgrade for all Mac users. Although Macs are undeniably more expensive to buy and purchase accessories for, this price point looks incredibly appealing compared with the anticipated £70 price point of Windows 7 Home Premium.

Actually, an Apple QuickTime movie (.mov) file is not a supportable video format by PowerPoint. You cannot insert it directly to PowerPoint. You can hyperlink the QuickTime movie to PowerPoint, or convert the MOV file to AVI or WMV and insert to PowerPoint.

To keep your video-inclusive PowerPoint presentation work on a different computer, do not forget to place the source video file and your presentation in the same file folder. Copy the folder to a USB and paste it to the target computer. Sometimes, you need to insert the video again to your presentation.

Nothing. HTML has nothing to do with running media files. Each computer system must be able to play a given media type in order to hear or see the result. Whether that means using OS-inherent capabilities, third-party players, browser add-ons, or embedded Java players is beside the point.
For example, you could use Flash-based audio – but it will only work on computers which are set up to render Flash. WAV files will only work on computers which can play them. Same for MP3, OGG, and anything else you can imagine.
Most internet sites get around it by either choosing a fairly commonly supported format, like Flash for Youtube.
If you choose a relatively common format, the majority of page visitors won’t need to download a player because they’ll already have something which can render the audio file or stream.
If you’re trying to have a sound play every time a particular page is loaded, please don’t – it’s enormously annoying and drives people away from websites.
If you want to have the sound play when a link or object is clicked on, and you don’t want to mess around with embedded streams and whatnot, just link to the audio file. Unless you’re specifically targeting Windows-only users, make it an MP3 file.
But the best way to do it is to find a webpage which does what you’re specifically after and have a look at the source code, then just duplicate what they did.
